



Since 1948 the Village Gardeners of Glendale continually serves Glendale. Locally known as VGG, Members are privy to informative socials with special guests sharing horticultural expertise.

VGG signature activities are acclaimed.

Planting and tending colorful flowers in two central islands in the Glendale Village Square.
Fundraising bi-annually with a Winter Plant and Wreath Sale and with a Spring Flower Sale.

Providing a hallmark fountain in the Glendale Village Square, VGG Member Marianna Briner artistically reshaped the fountain into the official logo for this garden club.
Continuing with the Federated Garden Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, co- founded in 1921 at the Glendale home of Mrs. William Cooper Procter to unite Cincinnati area garden clubs.
Sponsoring among other groups the Cincinnati Zoo Plant for Pollinators Program.

Additionally VGG achieved unusual recognition by winning the Peoples Choice Award back-to-back in the 2017 and 2019 Art in Bloom biennial celebrations of floral arranging.

Rising brightly from the dismal global health pandemic, the Village Gardeners of Glendale remains a refreshing social club of garden lovers.
